Necole Kane

Necole Kane, founder of xoNecole, has become one of the most recognized influencers for creating a positive platform for women of color.

Motivated by her struggles, Kane was determined to manifest her way into where she wanted to be. Kane was homeless, broke, and dealing with the loss of her parents when she decided to make a change for the better. In 2007 she launched her celebrity gossip site NecoleBitchie.com which kicked off the beginning of many years of success.

“My old bio said, she couldn’t find an opportunity so she created one. I created my own opportunity after getting told no a million times,” Kane said.

Unexpectedly blowing up, Kane never imagined she’d be where she is today. She began manifesting the things she wanted and everything started falling into place.

“I’m so fascinated by manifestation because I feel like it’s the only reason why I’ve acquired the success I have, especially coming from the environment I came from. I lived in poverty, there wasn’t examples of people who did what I wanted to do,” Kane stated. “I wasn’t fantasizing; I was visualizing.”

In 2015, Kane went out on a limb and decided to delete her gossip sight despite the success she was receiving.

“I got to a point where I felt like life was moving too fast and it was a toxic environment. I just got burnt out and I felt unfulfilled,” Kane said.

With the launch of xoNecole, she was able to rebrand herself and start a positive and empowering platform.

“It feels good to me that it impacts women in the way that it does because I feel like I didn’t make the switch in vain. It was something that had to happen and I feel like I did it at the exact right moment,” Kane said.

Less than two years later, xoNecole was noticed and obtained by Will Packer and Warner media. This connection allowed Necole to reach heights that she never saw herself overcoming.

Today, her platform still continues to flourish and inspire thousands of women around the world. She said, “I don’t really cover things that don’t make black women feel great.
